Oak Floor rescued.Dont ignore it restore it!!

Another day another floor needs the gentle touch of timeless floor restorations. Seeing signs of wear and tear and moisture setting into this beautiful floor the dark black tell take signs were starting to show.

The odd bit of sun fading around the doorways and the dreaded patches under the rugs where old school finishes can't keep the great British summer away.

I ended up sanding this beauty back to bare wood, applying 2 x coats of Pallmann allbase primer down, then followed up with 2 top coats of Pallmann pal96.This is a 1 pack lacquer which is still commercial grade and as Pallmann say "AS TOUGH AS A 2 PACK".

I also had some lovely oak stairs to sand and finish the same way.

Came up a treat and the client was more than happy with the results I achieved.Once dull transformed.

This was prior to the sanding .you can see the odd mark and scratches in the finish.
